Chris is a Master Coloratti; An ambassador and educator for the prestigious X-Rite Photo Coloratti initiative. In August 2012 Chris became the inaugural member of the prestigious Northern Explorer of Light program; he remained in that role as an ambassador, contract photographer, lecturer and educator of Canon Canada until switching to Sony mirrorless cameras and becoming a Sony ambassador in August 2017, and he remains in that role today.

I try to capture an unobtrusive, close and intimate view into my subject’s lives; at their level and without disturbance. I spend an enormous amount of time learning every detail about my subjects, their behavior and their lives. As a visual storyteller, there is nothing more rewarding than recording a unique behavior or moment, and doing so without my presence felt by my subject, or the viewer. Having now taken two of his photo workshops, I have seen a significant improvement in my images due to improved capture and post processing techniques. Having taken many other wildlife photo workshops, Chris stands out for his top notch instruction. His workshops provide many excellent photo opportunities.
